Day 4 - Old Dog, New (Web Marketing) Tricks
That's right, old dogs CAN learn new tricks. Our dog Lucy learned to fetch the paper at the ripe old age of 10. Now she can't wait to 'do her job' every day. Somehow she knows when it's Sunday and there is no paper to get too.
But Lucy is not the point of this...
Since launching my site redesign on 6/15, I've become a web stats junkie. Now, however, the addiction has worsened since I've discovered and learned how to use Google Analytics.
This FREE tool is an amazing addition to my marketing and tracking efforts. It taught me how to track campaigns by implementing code into each of the incoming links I have control over. Then it gives unbelievably easy tracking info.
I'll use one for my newsletter links, another on client's pages where I give credit to myself: Web Design by CD WebMaker, etc.
This is certainly something I'm going to be adding to my own marketing efforts, as well as packaging it as a service to my clients.
