

The question of how it all began may be of pressing concern to some but to the Scot, it is sufficient to know that the game was born on the links land of eastern Scotland. Here, the game has been nurtured for over five hundred years and from here, it has been raised to the great game played and loved by millions throughout the world.
No Gaelic Highland Festival would be complete without a Kilted Golf Tournament and we're excited to offer our visitors a one-day golf outing - standard rules of golf will apply, and oh yes - wear your kilt!
We'll be teeing off at 1 p.m. at Cañon City's own Shadow Hills Golf Club.
Their new facility boasts over 12,800 square feet of space which includes an upper level bistro/bar area, men's and women's private card rooms, large dining and banquet room, and, a large wrap-around deck overlooking the front nine holes to the north.
The lower level includes locker rooms, cart storage, and, a fully stocked pro-shop offering a wide selection of clubs, accessories and clothing.

This 18 hole par 70 golf course plays four sets of tees for all levels of abilities. Please note the following yardage and rating matrix:
