ost of the sites shown here were built using XHTML and CSS for layout. These programming languages make for much cleaner code. Cleanliness is next to Googliness - in other words, search engines love it! The other wonderful things about them is the cross-browser compatibility and accessibility for the visually impaired.
PHP programming language, sometimes used with a MySQL database, has been used because it's flexible, very powerful and fast. These two languages are used to generate dynamic pages - like this one - and makes updating easy!

This outstanding Colorado mountain resort has a lot to offer groups staying at the ranch. CD WebMaker came up with the logo and used a lightbox effect to show off the images of Bear Lake.
You can see the marketing experience of one of the site's owners in the content. While pictures show the beauty of Bear Lake, her fine writing will sell the experience to web visitors.
Canon City Chamber of Commerce
The Canon City Chamber of Commerce was ready for an overhaul, and we fixed them up with a site that "pops"!
This time around, we built in more interaction and ways to notify the membership, and the public of what's going on at the Chamber to promote participation.
We've done a couple videos and added them to YouTube, helping to bring in more traffic.
The progressive Fire Chief wanted a useful marketing tool for the rapidly growing fire district to educate the community about its role.
The private area is for firefighters only to login and the admin section is another custom designed Content Management System by CD WebMaker.
The Cotopaxi Arkansas River KOA and Loma Linda Motel needed a web site of their own to generate campground reservations.
The site employs a lot of images and information about not only the campground, including rules and regs, but information on things to do in the area as well-which there are many!
High-end products need a high-end web site. I hand coded all of the admin functions as well as the Galleries using PHP and MySQL.
It goes to show that 'canned' 3rd party software just won't do in custom web sites like this one. The Door Gallery needs to be updated easily by the client and function for the web visitor and search engines as well.

A Doctor of Naturopathy needed to expand her markets and spread the word about holistic health care and natural living.
I designed a simple, elegant web site for Dr. Allen that was within her budget. The site, designed using XHTML and CSS, is easy for me to update, saving her money as well.
This is a web design project I'm very proud to be a part of. There are estimated to be over 6,000 people with a developmental disability in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado who don't receive any type of assistance due to lack of funding. This web site is intended to give those people and those who care for them a voice and a community.
Using the "holy grail" of web site design (3 column CSS layout) we've given this community resources, RSS feeds and a forum for them to communicate.
This company was open to new ideas, programming options and designs when they came to me with plans for their start-up.
This site uses forms specifically designed for Vendor registration. It is also e-commerce enabled to book and receive payment for vendor space.

This site is e-commerce enabled to sell tickets and book and receive payment for vendor space at the festival.
The shopping cart can also book and take payment for performers wanting to enter contests.

This start-up outfitter company wanted a simple, easy to use web site. The hunt manager has the most excellent photos ops and we made the most of his extraordinary wildlife images.
Nothin' fancy, here, just good ol' W3C compliant coding and brilliant (IMHO) design. We did get transparent PNG's to work on this site so the camo background works. We will be upgrading to include a Flash photo gallery as more photos come in.
The good people at Higher Limits gave it a shot at designing their own web site and came to the conclusion they needed professional help.
I installed Zen Cart on a new hosting account and they are off and running, selling all sorts of really neat outdoor adventure gear and clothing.
This beautiful mansion needed a beautiful and functional web site for marketing it for sale.
The image effects allow a quick perusal of the images by simply placing your cursor over the image to see a larger view. This way the web visitor isn't required to open any new windows to see all the images.
Having all the image thumbnails on one page, along with the text listing the property highlights and the history of the mansion itself, makes for one long page.
This issue was addressed by supplying links at the top of the page to the three distinct areas and also providing anchors at the end of each section to return to the top of the page.
It works well to market to other Realtors who are in a hurry to get all the info on the property and move on.

Realizing that in order to obtain grants and funding from outside sources meant turning to Internet promotion, Loaves and Fishes got a clean, dynamic site with Flash and striking graphics.
The site has on-line forms for volunteers, their quarterly newsletter and opportunities to make a donation using PayPal.
This client needed to get online to do a little PR for the company. They do land reclamation, forest thinning and provide fire wood and gravel for purchase.
We gave them a friendly site with lots of information on what they do and that they are 'good stewards' of the land they work on.
This non-profit needed a polished, professional web site to create awareness. The re-design uses a moving video, produced by Chris Selders of Gradient Blue Creative, online applications for assistance and an updatable calendar to let everyone know about upcoming fundraisers.
Artist Pamela Helms wanted to start heavily promoting her art and commissioned portraits.
The lightbox effects allow visitors to open all the images on the site for a larger view, showing the fine detail in the artwork and media information.
This web site requires users to register and then login to view available investment properties.
The registration system as well as the CMS for the client to add, delete and update the registrants, reps and properties was all custom programmed by CD WebMaker.
Royal Gorge Anglers needed an updated design with special features like the ability to update portions of the site on a daily basis.
They also wanted an interactive map of the Arkansas River that they could update. It goes without saying they were after an attractive design and it was accomplished using XHTML and CSS.
The site is e-commerce enabled, and the fly fishing blog is an industry-first. It allows the company to stay in constant contact with the client base.
Royal Gorge Networking Group had incoming link opportunities that prompted the need for a site with information about the group as well as a list of its members. I designed the site using XHTML and CSS.
PHP and MySQL accomplished the task and displays the members in a different random order every time the page is loaded.
After the initial launch, they decided to add the meeting minutes to the site. Again, this was accomplished with PHP and MySQL.
We brought a local artist online with a web site that adds a discreet watermark to the images of artwork.
The site is SEO heavy, cleverly (IMHO) integrating keyphrases in the titles, URLs, domain names and content.

Santa Fe Realty came to CD WebMaker for a professional, attractive and interactive web site redesign with lots of real estate news and advice content and the all-important listings feature integrated into the site.
They got all that and areas they can update themselves: newsletter, featured properties at the top of each page and something new in the industry - a Real Estate Blog.
Thinking ahead to a couple regional home and garden shows, Seufer Tree Farm came to CD WebMaker for a web site, because their customers were begging for one.
We put both their retail and wholesale catalogs online, in PDF so that they are viewable and printable. Wholesale customers are required to provide contact info so that Seufers can build their client list.
The Sleigh Bell Celebration, yet another FESTIVILLE PRODUCTIONS event web site needed its own identity and branding too.
Plans include a shopping cart for ticket sales and vendor bookings.

These fun folks came to me with a site designed by someone else that was in a complete shambles.
I got them up and running with Zen Cart using most of their own graphics. They now have a functional shopping cart and Flash galleries to showcase Tattoos by Richie.
The great thing about this site is most updating can be done by the client, both the shopping cart and the tattoo galleries via an online program.
Traders of the Bighorn in Caņon City is one of the most unique stores I've ever seen and they needed an online presence that reflected both their hard-to-match inventory and their honest way of doing business.
Because they do a lot of shows across the country, promotion of the site was integrated into their presence.
Their shopping cart is easily updatable, and they can track orders and notify customers of their order status in a timely manner, something that goes along with their great service.
UPDATE 5/4/2006: About a year after launch they wanted to start blogging and have received great customer feedback already.
